Experience one of the nicest panorama routes during this daytrip - The Ring of Kerry. Lay back and hear more about the country, the people and the history.
This daytrip starts daily at 10:00am (Monday - Wednesday) at the East Avenue Road in Killarney (next to the cinema).
The 180 km long route leads you along the panorama and coast road Ring of Kerry which goes around the Iveragh Peninsula.
We are going along Dingle Bay over pretty Irish villages like Glenbeigh and Waterville. We make a short stop in Glenbeigh at the Kerry Bog Village Museum - a small turf village with original rebuilt Irish cottages. There you have the possibility to get a look at Irish life in the 18th century. Afterwards we go to Derrynane House, the former home of Daniel O'Connell. Below Derrynane House you will see one of the most beautiful beaches of southwest Ireland. Our way leads us back through the lovely little village Sneem and then to Molls Gap and the panorama viewing point Ladies View where you can see Killarney National Park with its three crystal clear lakes.
