This day-trip will bring you to some of the original film locations of the well-known Rosamunde Pilcher movie, “Nebel über Schloß Kilrush” – “Fork Over Castle Kilrush” .

Firstly, we visit one of the most imposing buildings in Killarney, St. Mary's Cathedral. Then we go to Aghadoe, a wonderful viewing point, from there we drive to Ross Castle, a 15th-Century castle on the shores of Lough Leane. This is followed by a visit to Muckross House which was featured in the movie, “ Fork Over Castle Kilrush ”. We then take a guided tour through the mansion which was built in 1843. The tour takes approximately one hour. Among some of the most famous visitors to this stately mansion was Queen Victoria . The house is nestled in a beautiful park with exotic trees and huge rhododendrons. There will be an opportunity to have lunch in the adjoining restaurant before or after the tour. We then have a 20 minutes boat-trip to Dinis Cottage. From there we walk approximately 25 minute through a magical forest. Before we return to our accommodation we will make a brief stop at the picturesque Torc Waterfall. If you wish you can take a Jaunting Car ride back to your accomodation
